Dr. Choi’s pursuit in life has always been to use his knowledge of science to help those in need. After completing his Ph.D., he felt that the life course that he had chosen was moving away from his goals. Though the research he conducted indeed made an impact in his field, Dr. Choi felt that his research was not making any difference in changing the quality of life of the general public. 

Through a family connection, Dr. Choi met D and Cheri Inspires came into his life. After meeting D, it was clear and obvious that the two shared the same vision and desire to help reduce disease burden through education, a plant-based lifestyle, physical activity, and a positive mindset. Being a part of Cheri Inspires allowed Dr. Choi to combine his passion for science and education with making a difference in global health and wellness.
